  • Closed depression lacustrine basin is mainly characterized by climatic sequence.In idealistic conditions, three-grade climatic periodic changes basically conform to sine curve. Type Ⅰclimatic sequence of an integrated closed depression lacustrine basin is composed of four parasequences:LPWST,TST,HST and FRWST. Similarly, type Ⅱclimatic sequence of an integrated closed depression lacustrine basin is composed of 3 parasequences:TST,HST and FRMST. These tracts have relevant locations in curves of climatic periodic changes and sequence boundary is at the lowest point of base-level changes.
