THE IMPACT OF CABLE SINKING DEPTH ON SEISMIC DATA

  • Characteristics of geological structure and geophysical field in northeast continental slope of the South China Sea are complex. When seismic data are collected, it is important how to get high quality seismic data of Mesozoic, and the key is to choose appropriate parameters of seismic data acquisition. The test of cable sinking in 7,10 and 12 m depth indicated the seismic data acquisition with cable sinking in 7m was excellent in subwave figure and frequency scanning effect.
