Abstract
According to the code of marine monitoring, As was analysed by atomic fluorescence, Hg was analysed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, and Pb, Cd and Cu were analysed by anodic stripping vo-hammetry. The changes of heavy metals concentration and potential ecological risk indices in different depths of 3 cores from the south Haizhou Bay were analysed by those methods, and the contamination history of heavy metals was also dicussed combined with the 210Pb dating. Results show that the concentration of heavy metals varied with depth like zigzag; the correlation with organic matter indicated that As, Cu and Pb were related to human contamination; the pollution of heavy metal is low on the whole, and Hg is the primary element of pollution, which is seriously harmful to ecology.
