SEDIMENTARY SYSTEMS OF SUDONG BLOCK SHANXI FORMATION IN SULIGE GAS FIELD

  • Cores, logs, seismic profiles, rock flakes, laboratory data and other information were studied for the microfacies of the Shan1&Shan2 Formation in Sulige Gas Field, SuDong Block. Results show that the gas fields in northeast Shan1&Shan2 Formation occur in a meandering river and floodplain depositional system. The main sedimentary facies include the microfacies of meandering rivers, point bars, floodplains, interdistributary bays. The regional microfacies distribution characteristics and its evolution, and gets to the result that the meandering riverway body sand reservoirs Develops on the coarse brown pebbly lithic grains of quartz sandstone-thin conglomerate based in the depositional phase of Shan2 formation. Depositional system is near the source area of the alluvial plain of fluvial sediment, by the humid climate and the Weak water sedimentary environment of dynamic, develops large-scale river swamps diffuse deposition for the Coal layer provides a breeding ground, and formations the 3-5 sets of longitudinal seam. Source supply is relatively abundant, and formations a certain thickness of massive sand meandering channel deposits. In Shan1 deposition period:by the humid climate, well developed wetland Man River lakes, floodplain deposition.
