A REVIEW OF THE PAST 30 YEARS AND SOME SUGGESTIONS——FOR 30^TH ANNIVERSARY OF 〈MARINE GEOLOGY AND QUATERNARY GEOLOGY〉

The paper is prepared for the 30^th Anniversary of 〈Marine Geology and Quaternary Geology〉. Based on a look back to the achievements in the past 30 years, we may foresee the future trends of marine geology in China. It is believed that marine geology in China will be deeply rooted in the near shore and shallow water in the near future, and expand gradually and firmly into the research of pelagic and deep oceans. Suggestions with best wishes are provided for the improvement of the publication.
