Abstract
As a superimposed sedimentary basin, the south Yellow Sea Basin contains well developed clastic deposits of Cenozoic to Mesozoic and marine carbonate sediments of early Mesozoic to Paleozoic with interbedded clastic deposits.Based on the logging data with reference to the related data from the north Jiangsu basin,we summarized in this paper the p-wave velocity characteristics of sedimentary sequence in the south Yellow Sea and calibrated the seismic reflection interfaces and sequences.
