Abstract
The records of geological disasters have been observed through geological investigation on the Yellow River subaqueous delta.Incorporated with the data of dynamic triaxial tests and wave flume experiments, as well as boundary conditions, the forming mechanism and the motion of the liquefied soil were discussed in this paper. The sediments formed after silty soil liquefaction under storm waves will be restratified. The liquefied soil will move in phase with the wave, leading to differentiation of the soil particles. A comprehensive discussion is provided with respect to geological, environment and engineering consequences of storm-induced liquefaction.
