SPATIOTEMPORAL ANALYSIS BASED ON GIS AND MULTI-DIMENSIONAL DATABASE AT THE YANGTZE ESTUARY AND SURROUNDING COASTAL AREA

Base on GIS and multi-dimensional database and according to characters of marine environment, this article establishes a multi-dimensional data model of environment in the Yangtze estuary and surrounding area. And the method for space and time analysis of marine environmental data is discussed.According to the investigation data from 2003, 2004 and 2006, this article develops the multi-dimensional data model of environment, implements multi-dimensional environmental data's visual analyzsis, sharing and issuing in the Yangtze estuary and surrounding area and provides scientific database to control the coastal erosion and estuarine environment.
