EXPLORATION TARGETS OF PALEOZOIC SHALE GAS AT THE LAOSHAN UPLIFT, SOUTH YELLOW SEA

  • 摘要: 为了探讨南黄海崂山隆起古生代页岩气的勘探方向,收集了大量南黄海及周边陆区古生代烃源岩资料,对比评价了它们的生烃潜力,结合南黄海最新地震解释成果,初步推测了南黄海崂山隆起下古生界泥页岩的分布范围和厚度,分析了崂山隆起古生界页岩气的保存条件,认为崂山隆起西北部下古生界泥页岩分布广,厚度大,埋藏浅,构造变形弱,据此推测崂山隆起西北部可能是南黄海主要的古生界页岩气远景区。
    Abstract: A large number of data on Paleozoic source rocks in the South Yellow Sea Basin and adjacent Lower Yangtze regions have been collected for study of the Paleozoic shale gas potential at the Laoshan Uplift, the South Yellow Sea. The potential of hydrocarbon generation is also evaluated. Integrated with the newest seismic interpretation results, the spatial distribution and thickness variation of the Lower Paleozoic mudstone or shale are mapped and the preservation conditions of the Paleozoic shale gas are discussed. It is concluded that the Lower Paleozoic mudstone or shale at the northwestern Laoshan Uplift is characterized by large distribution area, big thickness, shallow burying depth and weak tectonic deformation, and could be a potential target for shale gas exploration in this region.
