Abstract:
Taking gravity mapping of Nantong sheet as an example, this paper introduces how to use different kinds of gravity data for marine gravity mapping. In this case, marine gravity data, continental gravity data and satellite-derived gravity data are used. Data correction with the same standard including the same gravity base net, the same gravity normal formula and the same projection method, merging data of different sources into one integrated data set and the problem of using satellite derived gravity data are discussed. A comparison is made between this new gravity map of Nantong sheet and the former maps.
