Abstract:
In the east of the lower Yangtze block, the South Yellow Sea is one of the well-preserved places where occur the marine Mesozoic-Palaeozoic deposits. Upon the basis of tectonic settings, tectonic evolutionary history and stratigraphic architecture, the marine Mesozoic-Palaeozoic reservoirs are identified by fully using the existing drilling, well logging and seismic data. Combined with the data from the adjacent areas, favorable reservoirs in the research area are preliminarily predicted through comprehensive study of spatial and temporal distribution of sediments, and tectonic evolution.
